I am an Evolutionary Biologist and Invertebrate Systematist at the Musuem of Comparative Zoology and a PhD candidate at the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology of Harvard University.

I try to answer questions in Island Biogeography and Systematics. In the past I have worked in the Caribbean, particularly in Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Hispaniola, and now concentrate in New Zealand. My system of study is a group of Harvestmen in the family Triaenonychidae, particularly those in the genus Nuncia, which I hypothesize is monophyletic to New Zealand.

For my research I use different tools, from classic microscope work and morphological matrices, to Scanning Electron Microscopy, and DNA sequence analysis.
