Primary resources:
The Harvard resources are rich and detailed and should be your first stop. Of course, there are also many fellowships and other funding opportunties not run through the school. A few of these are listed below.
For graduating seniors:
- Seniors interested in science graduate school should consider applying for an
NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Deadlines are typically the beginning of November.
- The Symantec Graduate Fellowship Program is available to support seniors who are entering graduate school (and also current graduate students) who wish to conduct research in areas related to information security. Deadline is December 12th, 2009.
For continuing undergraduates:
- Undergraduates interested in science can obtain summer funding from the NSF via the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) that they sponsor. REUs are 10-week summer research programs at university campuses across the country. The NSF hosts a list of programs, sorted by research area. Deadlines are typically in February and March.
