About Me

I'm a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at Harvard University's Department of Philosophy. My interests span the philosophy of mind, language, epistemology, metaphysics and the history of philosophy. I'm particularly interested in the philosophy of perception.

I'm writing my dissertation on issues concerning bodily awareness. I'm currently working on the spatial character of bodily sensation. You can find out more about my research here.

Thanks to an MBB Graduate Student Award I spent the academic year '06-'07 and Spring '08 visiting the Visual Cognition Lab and the Vision Lab at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Since returning to Harvard, I've joined the Philosophical Psychology Lab.

That's me
