ACADEMIC INTERESTS

• My major area of interest is atmospheric chemistry and physics. I've made summary study notes for the following related subjects (updated periodically, feel free to download): environmental sciences, atmospheric dynamics, applied statistics, and statistical thermodynamics.

• Closely related to atmospheric chemistry, meteorology and climatogy are also my areas of great interest. I've made a website summarizing the differences between tropical and mid-latitude cyclones, which can be found here.

• I'm also very interested in zoology, botany, ecology and evolutionary biology. In addition to remembering plant and animal taxa names and devouring nature documentaries, I've also spent quite some time reading about faith and science, in particular the creationism vs. evolution controversy.

• Somehow I'm also very interested in linguistics, and thought if I were not introduced to the wonders of the natural world that early on, I would have become a linguist.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

• Teaching fellow for EPS 200 Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics in Fall 2009.

• Teaching fellow for EPS 5 Introduction to Environmental Sciences: Atmosphere, Ocean and Biosphere in Fall 2008. For this I was awarded the Harvard University Certificate of Extinction in Teaching.
