Nancy L. Rosenblum ,
Chair of the Department of Government (2004 - present). Senator Joseph
S. Clark Professor of Ethics in Politics and Government. Ph.D., Harvard
University, 1973. Professor Rosenblum joined the Department of Government
at Harvard University in January, 2001. Her fields of study are the
history of modern political thought, contemporary political theory, and
constitutional law. Her latest book is On the Side of the Angels: An Appreciation of Parties and Partisanship published by Princeton University Press in 2008. Her 2008 contribution
to the APSA Taskforce on Religion and Democracy, "Faith in America: The
Logic of Autonomy and the Logic of Congruence" is available here. She
is winner of the 2002 David Easton Award (ASPA) for her book Membership and Morals: The Personal Uses of Pluralism in America . She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Nancy has also been interviewed for her new book, "On the Side of the Angels".
