- Find out the time in your US time zone, as regulated by the US Naval Observatory.
- AltaVista's Babel Fish Translation Service
- Online translator that currently handles Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. It produces horrible translations, but they get the point across.
- The World Factbook 2002, by the Central Intelligence Agency
- This exhaustive resource gives political, sociological, geographic, and economic information on all the world's countries.

Games
- The Pages of Now & Forever
- The best resource on the web for all games in the acclaimed Star Control series for the computer. In my opinion, and the opinion of many people at this page, Star Control 2 is the best video game ever created.
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Forum at GameTalk
- A message board I have participated in, dedicated to Nintendo's Ocarina of Time for the N64. In my opinion, Ocarina of Time is the second-best video game ever created.
Organizations and Groups
- Museum of Science, Boston
- A fun science museum on the Boston-Cambridge border with regular new exhibits. I volunteer here on the weekends.
- Amnesty International
- The well-known international organization dedicated to fighting human rights abuses everywhere.

- A major group dedicated to defense of the Bill of Rights in the United States.
- StarFleet International
