Here are some of the ladies of Faithcrew. This picture was taken at
a church on Kauai that we helped clean up on our '96 outer island trip.
From left to right, beginning with the top row: Jessica Owens, Carla McBane,
Jill Hayashi, Leslie McBane, Mindy Yamamoto. Bottom: Tarah Ho, Angie Owens.

Here is myself and Steven Stinton preparing the treehouse for the post-'97
HBA Jr./Sr. Banquet that I took Mindy to. Eventually, the treehouse was
full furnished with lawnchairs, a functioning disco ball, stereo and food,
topped off with a live band to entertain (Jeremy, Marci, and Carla)
The whole crew-o-faith on Kauai (1996)
Family Camp of '93 or '94 (can't remember) Here, me, Josh Hamm, Jeff
Barshaw and NJ cousin Chris Reif chill while Joey Shimabukuro and Jon Chitister
scope things out to make sure the camp is safe and secure!
The first couple of times my brother came back from the Air Force Academy,
we were all pretty excited to see him and brought leies to him at the airport.
Time takes its toll, though, and he's lucky if we send him a buck to catch
the bus back to Kailua (:
From left to right: Eric Lim, Bryan Gammel, and myself. Yeah...we're
thugs.
Here is a bunch of us at Brian Lim's wedding (August of '97) A good
time was had by all.
Here is our all around go-to bread and butter summer Faithcrew service
project. You put 15 strong kids together, with 20 gallons of water and
kool-aid, throw in some fruit, some popsickles, Diamond Head Crater, and
you got one good chance to serve people!
Here's the grunt work: Jeremy "I just want a wife who likes to fish"
Lim, Mikey "da Portagee" Eaton and Adam "Saddam/Ralph" Chang labor while
I pretend to help out.
On the backside of the Moks, Jon Lim is about to show Will Stinton
how to make the plunge.
Mindy and Carla are too cheap to buy an two ice creams, so they share
one here on our summer trip to Maui.
Another shot of Mindy, me, Marci and Tim at Brian and Keri's wedding.
Here is me and Warren Aihara, my close friend and youth pastor at Faith
Baptist Church. He's one crazy guy that hates cats and loves the Lord.
After a 40 minute ride in the bed of a pickup truck in 30 degree weather,
we see a sweet sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea.
Here is all the fellas watching world cup action at the Stevens' house.
Afterwards, the inaugural soccer game was played, and soccer after Faithcrew
grew into a beautiful tradition (minus the few scuffles between Faithcrewers
and their guests; aka the "Eric/Joe fly/window" exchange)
Your right: this probably wasn't the best idea to entertain ourselves,
but Jer, Jon and I had to figure out something to do with all the leftover
plastic bags from the ASICS shirts Marci got her dad to give us.
Maunawilli Falls. From left to right: me, Joanna, Lesley, Tim, Jonny
Ferris and Eric.
Here is me at graduation with Warren and Rob, the two most committed
youth pastors I've ever known.
The Lim men and Stevens' men. With all their genes put together, you
get 33.3% Chinese/66% Haole blood of pure power!!!!!!!
Me, Carla and Lacey at Zippy's after our Wednesday night young adults
study. As you can see, I'm pretty eager to get going on that 55 cent
jello parfait. This picture, and the below were shot and sent to
me by Lesley. Any one else is free to email me pics if you want them
on my page.
Brian, Eric, Jer, and Me. Jer is working on the nose-picking
thing; its been a long road for him.
Boy, I'd hate to meet this guy in a dark alley...
Despite what Tim will tell you about distance runners and hops, I got
'um!!! (as does Ed)
This picture, taken by Lesley McBane is one of the most well timed
shots I've ever seen. Warren always was one to enjoy breakdancing on the
suface tension of a pool, but this time we were tossing the brother in
at his goodbye party.
