Here is a CV
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics at Harvard University.
I also work in the Snedeker Lab, Laboratory of Developmental Studies, Harvard University, in the Hackl Lab, in MIT Department of Linguistics and in the Gabrieli’s Lab, in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT.
My research focuses on Model-Theoretic Semantics for Natural Languages. I am interested in particular in the interfaces between Semantics and Pragmatics and Semantics and Syntax. I am working now on my dissertation which focuses broadly on Presuppositions, Scalar Implicatures and their interactions. In the past I have worked on Conservativity and Intensionality.
On the Experimental Side, I also investigate the Semantics and Pragmatics Interface. In particular I am conducting two projects on Presuppositions in Conditional Sentences and Presuppositions in Quantificational Sentences, using Sentence-Pictures Matching Tasks. I am also involved in an Eye-Tracking study and an fMRI investigation on the processing of Presuppositions.
Outside Academia, I work as a consultant for Codice.Idee per la Cultura in the organization of Science Popularization Projects. I am also a consultant for the Publishing House Codice Edizioni for the Areas of Linguistics and Cognitive Sciences.
