I am a new NSF postdoc in the Willis’ lab at Duke University (Willis’ lab link).  I recently received my PhD from Harvard University (Dept. of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology) where I worked with Elena Kramer on Aquilegia (Kramer Lab link)

Broadly I am interested in plant evolution and development.  While in reality my research interests are very interdisciplinary I can force them into several categories (1) evolution of size and shape variation in Aquilegia and Mimulus, and (3) plant microRNA and siRNA evolution, and (3) general mechanisms of shape change in plants (cucumber tendrils).

Please see my research page (Research) for more information.
