Model - Return to Macao page 1

New Scene 1 - The Dock: back open to scrim in front of sun/moon box, orchestra behind scrim.
Gangplank is a ramp on SL of raised platform, removeable rope railing on back of platform. Stairs coming down from platform are permanent to allow easier movement up and down platform.

piano back looks like crate, bar is offstage or onstage disguised as cargo of some sort.

Scene 2 in front of club: bamboo portal with chinese lantern, sandwich board with sign

Scene 3 Rick's Club: Piano turns to be "played", bamboo curtain travels in from sides, decorative lights up on front of Rick's stage platform. Center portion of raised platform rolls forward to become "stage". Bar and barstools, Table and chairs.

Scene 4 dressing room: lights down on rest of club, table with mirror and lights and chair DSL.

Then back to club and a scene "outside the club" probably don't need to get back the bamboo portal, but chairs, tables, stools, maybe even bar gets struck.

Scene Docks: The chase on the docks: Traveller opens and back to set up of 1st scene minus the gangplank and railing

Scene Bangkok Club: Bamboo Traveller closes and Ticky Ticky Tocky Club signs put in place. Decorative lights on front of stage light up. Do we need table/chairs here, barstools?

Scene last: NY Club: Ticky signs turn to be Nicky signs. Decorative lights on front of stage light up. Table and chairs probably not needed.
