Portrait of Hillary Young

My research is focused on understanding effects of changes in biodiversity on population and community structure and function. I am particularly interested in understanding the cascading effects of species loss on human health and well-being.

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow jointly affiliated at Harvard University, where I am part of the Harvard University Environmental Fellows program, and at Smithsonian Institution, where I am affiliated with the National Museum of Natural History.
