Michael J. Hiscox is Professor of Government in the Department of Government, Harvard University. He has published widely in the areas of international political economy and international relations. His research focuses on the politics of international trade, investment, immigration, and globalization. His first book, International Trade and Political Conflict, won the Riker Prize in 2002. His second book, High Stakes: The Political Economy of US Trade Sanctions, will be published in 2007. He teaches in the Department of Government and in the Social Studies program at Harvard, and is a faculty associate at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. | |
