Welcome. I am a graduate student at Harvard University in the Ph.D. program in government and social policy. I am also a doctoral fellow in the multidisciplinary program in inequality and social policy, and a graduate student associate at the Center for Basic Research in the Social Sciences Institute for Quantitative Social Science.

My dissertation derives two new estimators and applies them to cross-country survey data to test competing theories of preferences for redistribution and other welfare-state programs. I am currently looking for an assistant professor position in methodology, comparative politics, or political economy. Feel free to email me at MyLastname.ben@gmail.com.
