The Rowland Institute for Science is on the Charles River, adjacent to the Esplanade condominiums, across from the Athenaeum House (215 First street).... a 2 min walk from the Cambridge Side Galleria mall.
RED LINE:Take the Red line to Kendall Square. Cross the street so that you are walking towards the Longfellow Bridge on Broadway. Keep walking until you see a green bridge. Cross over to Edwin Land Blvd. and you will see a red brick building with tight security and no windows on the first floor. This is 10-15 minute walk.
Alternately, take the free shuttle (every 20 min) from the MIT Coop to the Cambridge Side Galleria shopping mall. Walk through the Lotus Corp. park and cross the street towards Rowland. You will pass the Royal Sonesta, Lotus, then the Esplanade condos. The address is 100 Edwin Land Blvd.
GREEN LINE: Take the Green line to Lechmere T stop, walk through
the mall and follow above directions from the Cambridge Side Galleria.
