About Me

I look considerably older than this now I'm afraid.

Gautham Narayan is a graduate student in the Department of Physics at Harvard University and hangs out a lot at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.

Originally from Madras in India, he came to quaint Cambridge, MA in 2005 via Bloomington, IL. He then started grad school and immeadiately had so much to do that the he never actually updated his website for 5 years straight. You can read about his desperate attempts to not muck up under research or in his Curriculum Vita that he incidentally also has not updated in 5 years.

He's been interested in astrophysics and cosmology since he was but a wee lad listening to his grandfather's stories. Somewhere along the geodesic he decided to make a career out of it - and picked up the horrible habit of referring to himself in third person. He's particulalrly interested in the recent trend of prefixing things that aren't completely understood with the word dark. He thinks the CMB is pretty cool and supernovae are a blast.

He only updates webpages when he is very, very bored so disregard his promises to put up a section on tips-n-tricks with IRAF.

He was right on who R.A.B wass.
