Federico is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University. He holds a BA and MA in Political Science from the University of Kansas, as well as an AM in Government from Harvard. Federico's research focuses on comparative electoral politics. His dissertation, "Winning Ugly: Getting the Parties Right in Young Democracies," evaluates the process of party system development in new democracies.
