I am a Mendenhall Post-doctoral fellow at the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, CA. I recently graduated from the Earth and Planetary Sciences Department at Harvard University. I am interested in using geodetic observations better understand earthquake cycle processes. In particular, estimating fault slip rates and strain partitioning in fault systems, and understanding the relationship between coseismic slip and postseismic deformation. To address these problems, I am especially interested in sparsity based estimation methods using L1 regularization.
