Here's some information about
me...
Elvira G. Di Fabio,Ph.D., that's a
Harvard June 1990 Ph.D. in Romance Language and Literatures, with a
dissertation on Italian linguistics under the direction of Luigi Burzio.
Senior Preceptor: what this means is
that I
coordinate and administer the Italian language program here at Harvard.
I also teach 4 courses a year, usually at the advanced language/culture
level. My interests include: Italian linguistics, cinema, music
and Italian-American literature. I am also active in developing the
effective integration of the new technologies (i.e., computer assisted
software, multimedia and the Internet) in the teaching of Italian
langauge and culture.
Boylston Hall 321 (3rd fl)... that's the big gray building to
the right
of
the main entrance to Widener Library. My office hours
change from semester to semester, but you can always
reach me by email (edifabio@fas.harvard.edu) to arrange
an appointment.
