Computer-Assisted Work and Business Scalability
This project investigates computer-assisted work contributes to the capacity of organizations for resource-efficient growth. It involves three studies: an analysis of information technology (IT) use and revenue growth in several hundred mid-size firms across several industries; a case study of a rapidly growing financial services firm; and a study of computer-assisted work, business model characteristics, and business scalability in several hundred financial services micro-organizations.

Sustaining Exploration in Mature Organizations
A theoretical investigation of how mature organizations can prevent exploitation (refinement of existing capabilities) from driving out exploration (creation of new capabilities). Collaborative work with Bradley R. Staats, Michael L. Tushman, and David M. Upton.
