This table describes the contents of the file: "guobiao_1991_040301.zip" which can be accessed from the CHGIS working papers downloads page.
There are two files in the ZIP archive, containing 3389 administrative units for the year 1991. The table was compiled by CHGIS from Guobiao Code Lists GB 2260-91, and the capital data was extracted from ACASIAN 1992 data, as found in the Hartwell Datasets (also available from CHGIS). Note: the capital information has not been verified.
