The ZIP archive contains two TAB DELIMITED TEXT files. Each file contains over 32,000 records, in GBK Simplified Chinese encoding, listing all the names found in the:

"Historical Atlas of China" (8 Volumes)

The file was produced by the Center for Historical Geography (Fudan University).
