I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Sam Kunes' laboratory at the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, Harvard University. I collaborate closely with Dr. Florian Engert's laboratory in the same department.
My general interest is the neural mechanisms of behavior, including ensemble responses of neural circuits to natural stimuli, plasticity, learning and memory, evolutionary and genetic basis of behavior, and neurogenetic behavioral modification.
Currently, I am using an arsenal of molecular genetic, electronic, electrophysiological, multiphoton confocal imaging, behavioral and mathematical approaches to investigate the neural mechanisms of olfactory behavior and learning and memory at the systems neuroscience level, on the relatively "simple" neural network of an adult Drosophila brain.
