Enrollment and Tuition: How to Apply to BGCC
Families interested in Botanic Gardens Children's Center should complete
the enrollment application form, returning it along with the application
fee of $25 to the BGCC Director. Applications for enrollment are accepted anytime.
If there are classroom openings, individual tours of our facility can
easily be arranged.
Families on the waiting list will be notified of our annual Open House, a wonderful
opportunity to tour the facility and meet with current parents, teachers, and administrators.
The Open House is usually held on a Saturday in early March, from 10 AM to 1 PM.
No. We encourage all interested families to apply, especially for the preschool classrooms.
Priority is given to children of faculty, staff, and students of Harvard University,
but when there are vacancies, children of non-Harvard-affiliated families are admitted,
too.
Vacancies for the new school year, beginning in September, are filled in April and May,
with families highest on the prioritized waiting list offered contracts first.
Vacancies occurring during the year are filled from the waiting list.
Families contract with us for a full year from September through August.
A deposit equal to one month's tuition is required to reserve a space for
each child. The deposit is held until the last month of the contract period
and is applied to that month's tuition.
We are open from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Most children are enrolled in our program on a full-time basis, five days a week.
In each classroom, we offer one or two half-day enrollment slots: mornings
(8 AM to 12:30 PM) or afternoons (12:30 PM to 6 PM).
