Research Interests Compressed sensing: signal recovery from partial information, information theoretic limits, recovery algorithms
Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI): reconstruction algorithms for MRI from partial k-space data, randomly undersampled acquisitions
Approximation theory: frame theory, theory of sparse representations, frame constructions, rate-distortion characterization
Coding theory: coding over arbitrary fields, algebraic and soft decision decoding
Information theory: high-dimensional geometric analysis, large deviations theory About Me I was born in Istanbul, Turkey. I moved to Montreal for my undergraduate studies at McGill University. I got my PhD degree in May 2010 under the supervision of Professor Vahid Tarokh in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), Harvard University. I am currently a research fellow at the Cardiac MR Center of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, working on cardiac MRI with Professor Reza Nezafat . | | | | | | |
