PROJECT EDITORSHIP
- This project prepares an update version of F. Babinger’s Geschichtsschreiber der Osmanen und ihre Werke (Leipzig, 1927), a bio-bibliographic reference work for Ottoman studies that will list and describe all the published works, university dissertations, and manuscript catalogues, as well as survey the collections of the most important manuscript libraries of the world. The project was initiated in the Fall of 2003. Cemal Kafadar (Harvard University), Hakan Karateke, and Cornell Fleischer (The University of Chicago) are the editors of the Historians of the Ottoman Empire.
