Welcome to my homepage. I currently teach at Harvard University as an assistant professor in the philosophy department. My primary areas of research lie in early modern philosophy, the philosophy of science, and especially their interesection. I also have strong interests, however, in medieval philosophy, as well as contemporary metaphysics and epistemology, and I enjoy talking about almost anything philosophical (and many more things non-philosophical). I will be on sabbatical leave during the academic year 2007-2008.
