Teaching Experience

Fall 2005                      Ethics and Objectivity

·         A small, writing-intensive, discussion-based course for sophomore philosophy concentrators covering important recent work on the objectivity of Ethics.

·        I was responsible for all aspects of the course including designing the course, developing the syllabus and course description, guiding class discussions, grading and occasional lecturing.

Spring 2005                 Recent Ethical Theory – C.M. Korsgaard

·         An advanced undergraduate course, primarily for philosophy majors, covering important recent work in metaethics and moral psychology.

·         Teaching responsibilities included leading weekly discussion sessions and grading papers and exams.

Fall 2004                      Kant’s Ethical Theory – C.M. Korsgaard

·        An advanced undergraduate course, primarily for philosophy majors, covering Kant’s moral philosophy.

·        Teaching responsibilities included leading weekly discussion sessions and grading papers and exams.

            Spring 2004                 Metaethics
